The Gazette Opinion Staff
Feb. 15, 2012 9:03 am
“Iowa's Creative Corridor” is a good (new) name for a thriving region. The creative arts have long been an important part of our Corridor.
The history of the arts in our region includes world famous artists such as Grant Wood. The global reach includes the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa.
The future of the arts in the Creative Corridor is one of many opportunities. A remarkable number of venues for the arts are found throughout the region. All are outstanding.
Best of all, the present is truly an exciting time to enjoy the arts in the Creative Corridor. Take advantage of outstanding entertainment value. Enjoy music and so much more at CSPS.
Find an opportunity to enjoy the arts at the Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance website.
Hurry and you can laugh out loud at TCR's “The Importance of Being Earnest” (through Feb. 18).
Support the arts, which provides an exclamation point to Iowa's Creative Corridor!
