UNI to host Lehigh in FCS playoffs

The Northern Iowa football team will host Lehigh next Saturday in the first round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.

The Panthers finished the regular season at 7-4 after losing at Western Illinois 30-14 on Saturday.

Northern Iowa makes the playoffs as the Missouri Valley's automatic qualifier in the first season when no Valley team won at least eight games.

Lehigh brings a 9-2 record to the UNI-Dome.

The winner will play at third-seeded Delaware on Dec. 4.
