Is Brian Ferentz the New England Patriots' new tight ends coach?

Patriots Football Weekly, the self-described official newspaper of the New England Patriots, said yes in this item from this blog post. about the Patriots' rookie camp workout Friday morning:
It looks like Brian Ferentz has taken over the role of tight ends coach, leading that trio of players during drills and workouts.
The Patriots' second-r0und draft choice last week was Rob Gronkowski, tight end from Arizona. The aforementioned blog post makes Gronkowski, who was injury-riddled when Arizona lost at Arizona
Iowa last September, sound like somebody to watch.
As for young Ferentz, the former Hawkeyes center and the permanent oldest son of Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz, he joined the Patriots' scouting department in 2008. Kirk Ferentz was an assistant coach of Belichick's in the 1990s when the two were employed by the Cleveland Browns.
Why do we not know for sure if Brian is now a New England assistant? Because Belichick, who moves in mysterious ways, is the head coach.
Here is the Patriots' Web site, with the coaching staff listed.
And here is a Boston Globe story on the Pats' mini-camp, with this nugget:
Bill O'Brien remains in charge of the offense. He -- and offensive assistant Brian Ferentz, who is spending quite a bit of time with the tight ends though he does not hold the title of tight ends coach -- both gave a great deal of instruction to Aaron Hernandez. Bill Belichick spent a few moments with the fourth-round pick as well.
