Jackknifed semi-trailer truck blocks Interstate 380 bridge in downtown Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids police responded to a jackknifed semi-trailer truck blocking the southbound lanes of Interstate 380 in downtown Cedar Rapids Thursday morning.
According to public safety spokesperson Greg Buelow, the single-vehicle crash happened just south of Seventh Street East shortly after 11 a.m. The semi struck a concrete barrier. No injuries were reported.
All southbound lanes were blocked and traffic was diverted. Tow vehicles moved the semi and the lanes were reopened by 12:35 p.m., police said.
