Why roll the dice and vote for Trump?

To the editor:
I believe Donald Trump has succeeded in convincing conservatives to forget about their principles.
Old Democrat Trump was for the bank bailout, the stimulus, raising taxes, Obamacare, taking property for big business and abortions (Trump said he would consider appointing his pro-choice sister, who believes in partial-birth abortion, to the Supreme Court).
On Trump's first debate he said he was for government run health care system in the 1990s, but said it wouldn't work now (which doesn't make any sense) and then he said he would replace it with something else which means big government.
If you believe in individual freedom, God, the Constitution and smaller government, why would you roll the dice for Trump on a chance he is going to govern as a conservative when you have a 90 percent chance of other candidates who will govern as a conservative? I'm looking for the person who talks about individual freedom, God, the Constitution and not afraid to fight for it even if it is against their own party. Constitutionalist Sen. Ted Cruz has stood against his party and called his leader a liar on the Senate floor. Neither Republican John Boehner or Republican Mitch McConnell can be trusted.
It's important to have a constitutionalist as president so we have constitutionalist on the Supreme Court.
We don't need Jeb Bush, Chris Christie or other progressive candidates.
