C.R., help divert lights from landfill

After the 2008 flood, Mount Trashmore has been the recipient of much sorrow and hope. Cedar Rapids made a wise decision to reopen. Now is time for another decision and work at keeping our city “green.”
Coralville has several drop-off locations for recycling strings of Christmas lights. Certainly, our metro area should be able to do the same thing. Keep the spirit going.
