Accident slows I-80 westbound in Coralville

Traffic along Interstate 80's westbound lanes in Coralville is returning to normal as police finish their work at the scene of an accident.
The accident, nearly beneath the Interstate 380 overpass, brought traffic to a stop about 8 p.m. Coralville police and state troopers are still on the scene, but traffic was moving slowly past the wreck, which involved a commercial pickup. The truck's cab was nearly flattened.
Further details, including the name of the pickup's driver and any passengers, haven't been released.
