Clear Creek Amana school board narrows superintendent candidate list to four

The Clear Creek Amana school board has narrowed its list of potential superintendents to four.

They are Brett Nanninga, Tri-Center school district superintendent; Bradley Buck, associate superintendent of the Waukee school district; Denise Schares, associate superintendent of the Waterloo school district; and Patrick O'Donnell, Sioux Center school district superintendent.

The district will hold community receptions for each candidate at the high school in Tiffin next week. The reception for Nanninga will be held Monday. Buck's reception will be held Tuesday. Schares' reception will be held Thursday, followed by O'Donnell's reception on Friday.

Each reception will be held from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Superintendent Paula Vincent will leave the district June 30. She accepted the director's position for the Heartland Area Education Agency in February.
