Veterans Day program was a job well done

We applaud the Center Point-Urbana Middle School in Urbana for its outstanding Veterans Day program. It consisted of student participation, a computer presentation on local veterans and a valuable history lesson about the raising of the American flag on Iwo Jima, all followed by the flag-raising ceremony outside the school.
We were humbled. Many thanks to staff, students and American Legion members for an outstanding job well done.
