Rich doesn't mean 'anyone paying taxes'
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Apr. 23, 2012 1:35 pm
President Obama is insisting on a 30 percent tax on anyone making a million or more a year. He claims they are not paying their “fair share.”
He conveniently doesn't mention that the top 10 percent of the wage earners in this country already pay nearly 70 percent of the taxes. He also doesn't admit that 48 percent of the country pays little or no (federal income) tax. But then what can you expect from someone whose definition of rich is anyone who pays taxes?
