Hawkeyes' postseason hopes in doubt

Iowa started off well against Michigan State in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals Friday, playing the 8th-ranked Spartans to a 22-22 tie after ten minutes. But, as Iowa Men's Basketball reporter Scott Dochterman points out, Michigan State showed why they're a top-10 team down the stretch as they rolled to a 92-75 win. Iowa AD Gary Barta said after the game that Iowa would not seek a bid to the CBI, so the Hawkeyes' hopes for postseason play rest with an outside shot at the NIT.
