Jacoby understands local problems

In the June 8 primary election, we have an opportunity to send Dave Jacoby back to the Iowa House to work for us.

There are many good reasons to vote for Jacoby. He is a strong family man with local ties. He understands the problems that arise from running a small business since he is a small-business owner. He understands how small businesses were affected by the flood of 2008 because his business was flooded.

Jacoby's 94 percent voting record in labor issues is as strong as it gets. He clearly understands the important balance that is needed in Des Moines.

I have had the opportunity to work with and discuss public safety issues with Jacoby. He is always willing to listen and work to understand the issues.
