Rettig has proved self working for county
The Gazette Opinion Staff

In the Jan. 19 special election for the Johnson County Board of Supervisors, there is one candidate who is prepared for the job, the one who is already doing it, Janelle Rettig. She has been active in government at the local, state and even federal level (on the staff of former Rep. Jim Leach), and knows how to get things done.
Rettig has been active in promoting environmental protection, recreation opportunities, human rights, good government and a sound fiscal policy - giving her contribution to what makes Johnson County a great place to live: quality of life.
The Republicans instead offer us “No,” and “No-er.” Vote for Democrat Janelle on Tuesday.
