Greediness root cause of our massive debt

Why are so many in debt? Our society teaches it. Our businesses wickedly profit off it. Our government promotes it. Where have the days gone that taught us if you don't have it you cannot spend it?
Who's behind all our financial irresponsibilities? Answer: To various degrees, we all are. Our own wicked greediness and love of more money is our root problem.
How do we get over it? Answer: Repent.
