Man dies in central Iowa car fire

Authorities say a man died after suffering burns in a car fire near Melbourne in central Iowa.
Marshall County officials say emergency crews found the man when they responded to a report of a car fire around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday just off Iowa Highway 330. The man, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a Marshalltown hospital where he died.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
