Iowa DOT experiencing a computer system outage

The Iowa Department of Transportation is experiencing a computer system outage, which is affecting customer services throughout the state.
The computer system that supports issuance of driver's licenses and vehicle registration is experiencing significant interruptions in service. Customers are asked to delay their trips into the Iowa DOT's and county treasurer offices until service resumes.
The Iowa DOT's websites are not impacted by this service interruption.
The public will be notified when full services have resumed. We appreciate the public's patience during this temporary interruption in services.
