How do we begin to thank all the friends, co-workers past and present, extended family and neighbors, and union brothers and sisters who helped carry us through these tragic and sorrowful weeks after losing Ronnie and injuring Jane in the motorcycle accident. To those friends that shared the tragic day and held us in their arms in the emergency room, to the ICU doctors and nurses who showed us empathy as we waited to say our "good-byes" to Ronnie as he gave of himself one last time to the Organ Donor Network; Thank You. For all the kind cards, calls, flowers, food and memorial donations; Thank You. To the Prairie High Football parents for food, to the neighbors and Union brothers who helped winterize his home, to the Hynek family for taking in Ronnie and Jane's 2 dogs, to Pastor Tim (from Bloomfield) who set aside his family plans to minister Ronnie's service and burial, to the EMTs (Ben and Maggie) who volunteered their time to bring Jane by ambulance from the U of Iowa Hospitals so she was able to attend Ronnie's service; Thank You. To Murdoch Funeral Home for their patience and kindness during this time, to Dostals Catering for their excellent luncheon, to the Scottish Rite Temple for their care during our luncheon; Thank You. And to those who shared their stories of the past and present experiences with Ronnie; old school friends, friends from Galt Sand, True North, Ironworkers Local Union #89, and the many who participated in his Safety Classes, your stories and remembrances brought us joy, tears, and carried us through some very tough moments; Thank You. To all those that are holding Jane in your daily prayers and thoughts for her ongoing recovery; Thank You. Those 2 words seem so small and yet our gratitude is so great to you all; Thank You from the Carson family: Jane, Billy and Wendee, Janice and Bob, Mark and Julie, Mike and Christa, Joni, Tim and Lisa.
