Jones, Suzanne Klinger

Suzanne Klinger Jones, of Lorena, Texas, and formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Nov. 8, 2009. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Lorena.

Suzanne was born on May 12, 1961, in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Washington High School and attended the University of Northern Colorado and graduated from Hamilton Business College. She married Terry Jones on June 28, 1981. Suzanne lived for her children and always had their best interests at heart. She will be remembered most for her joyous spirit, contagious smile and the loving kindness she shared with everyone she knew. She inspired others with her amazing faith and her unending display of strength and courage.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, Terry; her daughters, Katie and Macie; her mother, Gloria Klinger; her brothers, Doug and Rick Klinger; and many nieces and nephews.

Her father, Robert “Bob” Klinger, died Nov. 14, 2009.
