Medical Mall would be a good change

I grew up in Cedar Rapids and remember when Second and Third avenues became one way. Lots of people used them, as they were faster than First Avenue with all the stoplights. Then I-380 came and people got around Cedar Rapids in five to 10 minutes.
Now when I go down Second Avenue at any time there are very few cars. I have thought about this for some time and I realize change is hard for some.
Come on people. Going out of your way a couple of blocks is hardly a major inconvenience. The new medical complex should be near the two hospitals for better access to patients and doctors rather than being way out in Hiawatha.
It would also save a lot of time for people who are physically challenged if they needed to go to more than one provider.
So let's rally around in support of this complex for the city and surrounding communities. Change is good sometimes; this is one of those times.
