The trial for former University of Iowa football player Abe Satterfield charged with sexual abuse has been moved to April, according to Johnson County District Court Documents.
After Attorney Alfredo Parrish of Des Moines had filed a motion seeking a continuance last month, the trial has been moved to April 12, 2010
Satterfield, 21, is charged with second- and third-degree sexual abuse for his alleged involvement in a rape of a female former UI student-athlete in October 2007.
Former football teammate Cedric Everson, 20, is charged with second-degree sexual abuse for the same incident.
Everson's attorney, Leon Spies of Iowa City, filled for continuance Tuesday, but it is still unknown if the request will be approved.
