Terrance "Terry" Lee Ockenfels, 74, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at the Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center on Friday, May 21, 2021. A gravesite service will be offered at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery in Norway with Pastor Joe Jacobson officiating.
Terry is survived by his brother, Daniel P. (Virginia) Ockenfels, of Fairfax; nieces, Deborah Wimberly of Cedar Rapids, Kimberly (Scott) Christensen of Cedar Rapids, Joan (Chris) Scheer of Lowden, Barbara (Mike) West of Walker, Janet (Keith) Huebner of Mount Vernon and Amie (Brad) Flanigan of Geneva, Ill.; and nephews, Daniel W. Ockenfels of Mount Pleasant and William P. (Heather) Ockenfels of Terryville, Ct.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Milford "Shorty" and Frances (Horrigan) Ockenfels; as well as his birthparents, Harold and Mabel (Montague) Ockenfels.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army.
