Letter: Republican Party not for the American people

While everyone has zeroed on the health care fight, SCOTUS and FBI investigations into campaign ties to Russia, which is understandable, the GOP has time and time again used the Congressional Review Act to take away (repeal) consumer/worker protections for their special interest backers.
First, they voted to allow Big Oil companies to keep secret the bribes they pay to other countries. Then they made it easier for federal contractors who skimp on worker safety to earn contracts from the government. Then they made it harder for the federal government to keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn't have them.
Just the other day they voted to allow internet service providers to sell your web browsing history without your knowledge or consent, to whomever they want. With each vote, the Republican party has sold out the American people, including those of you that voted for them for their special interest backers. Just today the Republican party voted to make it easier for states to restrict access to health care for women families.
Russia is already reportedly preparing to use the same tactics they used in November in the elections coming up this year and in 2018. Do not forget these GOP votes. John McCain sold his 'yes” vote to confirm DeVos as the Secretary of Education for the campaign contribution of $56,000. Chuck Grassley got $21,600 for his 'yes” vote.
They say they're for the American people, but their votes say otherwise.
