Emissions easier goal than disaster cleanup

I commend Rockwell Collins for establishing a goal of reducing carbon emissions by at least
15 percent by 2014, as reported in The Gazette. This is a major step toward sustainability, and an example that all of us should rally behind.
To the extent that Rockwell Collins recognized that meeting the goal won't be easy, I would say that it will be a lot easier to meet carbon reduction goals than it will be for people to deal with the disasters and other negative effects of unmitigated climate change if we don't cut our carbon emissions.
We can all take personal responsibility for cutting carbon emissions to reduce the risk of disaster from climate change.
