Dahms, Lynwood L.
Lynwood L. Dahms, 71, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids, with burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; his children, Tracy (Mary) Dahms of Argyle, Texas and Tonya (Don) Dicus of Mount Vernon; and five grandchildren, Jake, Ellie and Anna Dahms and Taylor and Delaney Dicus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tad Alan Dahms; and two sisters.
Lynwood was born July 31, 1941, in Monona, Iowa, the son of Harvey and Marie (Meyer) Dahms. He married Sandra Huckstadt on April 23, 1960, in Farmersburg. Lynwood was a member of the Cedar Rapids St. Mark's Lutheran Church and was employed by Vigortone Ag Products for 34 years.
Lynwood enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
