Eileen Ann Klein, 88, of Monterey, Calif., formerly of Monticello and Hills, Iowa, died Jan. 18, 2021, in Monterey.
Eileen is survived by Paul, her husband of 65 years; her son, Douglas, his wife Christine and grandchildren, David, Laura, and Daniel of Cave Creek, Ariz.; daughter, Michele and grandchildren, Andrew and Stephen of Fremont, Calif.; daughter, Sarah and grandchildren, Nicole of Ridgefield, Conn., and Robert of Monterey. She also is survived by her brothers, Dr. Kenneth Paulsen and wife, Judy, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and James Paulsen of Las Vegas, Nev. Eileen had seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Genevieve Paulsen.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hills, followed with burial at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery in rural Hills. Memorials can be given to I HELP, P.O. Box 413, Monterey, CA 93940; or St. Vincent de Paul, 146 Eighth St., Pacific Grove, CA 93950; or a charity of your choice.
