Traffic camera issues on safety, guilt
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Apr. 4, 2012 2:13 pm
Having read all the various arguments on both sides of the traffic camera issue, it seems to me the real bottom line is safety versus guilt of being caught breaking the law.
Spin it any other way and it still comes down to that. If you have been a driver of Interstate 380 through Cedar Rapids over the years, you know the safety value of cameras and also why some people (our lawmakers included) are personally against them. The truth hurts!
