No surprise the sales tax extension was defeated

Is it any wonder the 20-year sales tax extension was defeated?
The City Council can't even make a decision about who's going to run the hotel/arena/convention center without changing its mind a month later. You would have thought there would have been a meeting of the minds long before the announcement was made.
