Yantis, Texas
Charles Richard Naylor, 79, of Yantis, Texas, formerly of Alburnett, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. June 25, at St. Philips Episcopal Church in Sulphur Springs, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on June 26, at White Oak Shores RV Park, 6435 N. FM 17 Yantis, TX 75497, in the clubhouse.
Born and raised in Alburnett, and graduated Albernet High School, Class of 1959.
Richard retired from Rockwell international after 32 years of service and retired from Boeing in 2003 after 10 years of service.
Richard had a passion for fishing and being out on Lake Fork in Yantis. Richard was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Naylor; children, Carmine Booze (Ronnie), Scott Naylor (Bonnie), Travis Naylor (Robin and Christopher Naylor; brother, Rex Naylor (Bev); six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit Naylor; and mother, Gladys Naylor.
