Lins, Emily V.
Emily V. Lins, 93, of Washington, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Halcyon House in Washington. Celebration of Life graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin noon Saturday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present from 3 until 5 Saturday afternoon.
Emily is survived by three sons, Steven Lins and wife Lorraine of San Leandro, Calif., Edwin (Ed) Lins and wife Marjorie of Washington, Iowa and George Lins of Overland Park, Kan.; one daughter, Joyce Wilson of Washington, Iowa; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Mildred Koenigsmark of Shepardsville, Ky., and Libbie, Ella and Elsie Musil of Burson, Calif.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the United Church of Brighton.
