Occupy should focus overzealous government

Party affiliations become meaningless when dealing with an overgrown and tyrannical government. The centralized power that this president is exerting undermines the nation's system of checks and balances with little transparency and accountability. Defying direct court orders, refusing subpoenas and ignoring the Constitution in bypassing Congress, Obama instead issues dictatorial “executive orders.” His use of more than 45 czars is at odds with limited and accountable government, many of which have proved to be corrupt or radical.
His support of countless bailouts while still obtaining loans from foreign countries has us approaching the end game. When these foreign loans cease, our economy will collapse. Taxation will skyrocket, life-savings will plummet overnight and all government entitlement programs will stop.
This is precisely why the Occupy Wall Street movement is misplaced. The proper place for protesters is to be camped in front of the White House and the U.S. Capitol building. This sudden reduction to all standards of living will likely perpetuate widespread violence.
For these very reasons, Thomas Jefferson wrote, “The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.”
When the chief enforcer shows such profound contempt for the Constitution, then we need to ask ourselves before the next election, do we prefer to be governed or ruled?
