Congressmen waste money on first class

For 52 years as a businessman, my companies' and my philosophy always was 'I spent the company's money as if it were mine.” In all of those years I flew first class only twice, and this was because I had flown so many miles to be rewarded with an upgrade.
If our congressional people fly first class today from Cedar Rapids to Reagan Airport in Washington, D.C., the fare is $1,294 while the coach price is $534.
The argument proponents offer is that flying first class gives candidates an opportunity to 'rest” during their trip to, or from, their destination. Are politicians to be rewarded with 'rest while sucking up taxpayer dollars” while the business community flies 'cargo” and ends up at their office the next day?
This is 'true and honest.”
