Letter: Reader responds to Chris Hall guest column

In reading Rep. Chris Hall's nine questions for our Iowa budget ('Nine questions about the budget Iowans should ask,” July 2), I see nothing about actually spending less of our tax dollars. Here is how his nine questions can be summarized:
1. Raise taxes
2. Raise taxes
3. Raise taxes
4-9. Raise taxes
If that is what our Democrat friends really want, just move one state east and see how that is working out for them.
