Consider donating to Scouts food drive

As many of you know, Scouting for Food is in full swing this week from distribution of bags to neighborhood homes through Friday, to the pick up of the donations on Saturday.
For many Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts this is one of the most visible service projects they do. It also provides a tremendous amount of food to local food banks throughout the Hawkeye Area Council's service area.
I would like to encourage all who are able to donate what you can, there are many people here locally who are thankful and appreciate being able to receive the gift of food.
