Gibson, Ivan Donald
Ivan Donald Gibson, 95, of North English, formerly South English and Williamsburg, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, in North English. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the English River Church of the Brethren, near South English. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Burial will be in the Brethren Cemetery, near South English.
A memorial fund has been established for Heifer Project and The English River Church of the Brethren.

He is survived by a son, Dennis (Joyce) Gibson of South English; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; and a brother, Merlin Gibson.
