Corn not always needed in our gas tanks

My pickup takes 87 octane unleaded gas. I do not want ethanol in my truck. The Ford manual says no.
As to the abundance of corn - remember, people may plant, but God provides sun and rain.
Birds used to take care of insects, but herbicide seems to be solving weed problems, but like overuse of antibiotics, some ground is growing weeds harder to control.
The old saying - save when times are with plenty, there will be times of less.
Corn may be needed here at home and not in gas tanks.
