Schwab’s experience preferable in leader

Dick Schwab is running for state representative in House District 73, and what I like about him is he avoids the puffery so common among politicians. What you see is what you get with Schwab and a look at his opponent supports my reasons to support Schwab in Tuesday's Democratic primary.
Schwab's opponent is a database administrator for the University of Iowa and one of his roles is administering the program for G.I. Bill of Rights applicants. Our returning veterans deserve hassle-free administration of their benefits, including the education benefits. When I returned to Iowa from being an infantryman during the Cold War, I used the G.I. Bill. It made no difference to me who was the administrator, as long as they properly did the paperwork and processed my application.
While this clerical function is important to veterans, when I consider who I want representing me in the State House, I prefer someone like Schwab, who, in his role as vice president of information technology at a large company, approached database administration from a strategic level, rather than an administrative one. That is no puffery.
