Ruhl&Ruhl marking opening of C.R. office

CEDAR RAPIDS -- Davenport-based Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors on Wednesday will celebrate the opening of its northeast Cedar Rapids office.

The privately-owned real estate firm, which began operation in 1862, will hold an open house at 4 p.m. at the office, 5805 Council St. NE. The office is designed to accommodate significant expansion by Ruhl &Ruhl, providing space for to 20 sales associates and three staff members.

Cedar Rapids will be the 11th location for Ruhl&Ruhl, which also has offices in Bellevue, Bettendorf, Davenport, Clinton, Coralville, DeWitt, Dubuque, Maquoketa and Muscatine, as well as Moline, Ill. The company has been servng the Cedar Rapids market for more than seven years from its Iowa City office.

Ruhl&Ruhl is the largest privately-owned real estate company in Iowa. In addition to its real estate brokerage, the company also offers financing through its 1862 Mortgage unit and insurance services through the Nelson Ruhl Agency.

Ruhl&Ruhl has 284 sales associates and 50 employees.
