Insight Bowl pregame -- Ken O'Keefe
Marc Morehouse
Dec. 17, 2010 3:21 pm
Iowa offensive coordinator Ken O'Keefe talks here about all the things Missouri's defense likes to do, from putting speed rushers over guards to cover 0. The Tigers aren't afraid to do anything, and it's paid off for one of the best defenses in the country.
More on Missouri's D and on Iowa RB Marcus Coker.
Here the topic is Iowa's drop in scoring over the last four games, when the Hawkeyes averaged 19 points a game. Also, KOK is asked about WR Keenan Davis and if he has the ability to fill DJK's shoes athletically.
Here KOK is asked if he has any sort of idea what's out there regarding opinions on his performance and Iowa's offense. He has not Google'd himself, because the bottomline is "I'm not in PR, I'm a football coach."
KOK is asked about the report that had him as a possible interviewee for the opening at Indiana. Lots of dancing, but it doesn't sound as though he's terribly interested in becoming a head coach.
More stuff here about the grief an offensive coordinator takes. Also, he talks Iowa's offense and how it took more shots downfield this season than it has in any other.
