Abortion should not be a consideration
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 2, 2012 12:22 pm
Today, several million women of childbearing age will be encouraged to consider murdering another person who is causing them embarrassment, inconvenience or some other temporary crisis. No? Think about it. The definition of planned abortion is the same as the definition for murder - the premeditated taking of an innocent life.
Every pregnancy is a temporary situation. In nine months, a new God-given human will enter the land of the living. Plan A is for the mother to welcome the new one. Plan B is for the mother to put the new one up for adoption for someone who will cherish and nurture. Plan C is for the mother to murder the unwanted child.
Plans A and B are used daily with public approval. Plan C cannot be pursued. It is not legal. The child could have been murdered legally while in the womb. But, now that the child is outside the womb, murder is not legal?
