Kitzman, Marilyn
Marilyn Kitzman, 82, of Marion, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Northbrook Manor Care Center after a long battle with colon cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Kermit Jelmeland of Cedar Valley Bible Church will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Ted (Kathy) Croy of Cedar Rapids, Gary (Mary) Croy of Cedar Rapids, Morrine Croy of San Antonio, Texas, Dianne Croy of Cedar Rapids, Pam (Joe) Wing of Tampa, Fla., Bill Matthews of Palo, and Jeff (Donna) Matthews of Cedar Rapids.
Marilyn is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was an avid Hawkeye fan and always looked forward to watching the Hawkeyes on TV.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Iowa Hospice for all of their help, especially to Kristy and Michelle for always going above and beyond and taking care of our mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
