Anderson’s contributions were many

To the editor:
Thank you for the excellent summary of Bob Anderson's contributions to Iowa and the world with the Raptor Resource Project and the Decorah eagles webcam ('Anderson launched Decorah eagles webcam, saved peregrine falcons,” July 29).
On the same day we learned about the American dentist who used his bow and arrow and gun to kill and inflict horrific pain on Cecil, one of Zimbabwe's national treasures.
Anderson gave his all for the common good, the other cared only about himself and left a legacy of senseless, selfish personal enhancement.
