Forget the bashing & give us facts

I am in total agreement with those who are making every effort to get voters out.
Our forefathers fought and gave their lives for this privilege. Many of today's voters tell you they are too busy or do not know which candidate will do the best job if elected. Both of these excuses are true.
I doubt that we can change how busy everyone is, but I think political candidates can help us know who to vote for by eliminating the 'bashing” of each other and tell us what they plan to do, how they plan to do it and what they think it will take to get the job done.
I, for one, am sick of all the bashing. I want to make an informed decision but find it extremely difficult since the candidates do not address these issues. With the advancement of social media this information should get to everyone.
The entire political arena has changed since I got to vote for the first time. It used to be 'how can we make our local, state or federal governments better.” Now it is let's see if the Democrats can defeat the Republicans or vice a versa. If the candidates would address the above issues we could have a better chance for a better tomorrow. We need to know their plans, their ideas and their positions.
Forget the bashing and give us the facts. As Sargent Friday used to say 'Just the facts, folks. Just the facts.”
