Hoyt, Harlan A.
Harlan A. Hoyt, 68, of Bloomfield, formerly of Vinton, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the Davis Center in Bloomfield following a short illness. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine by the Rev. Charles Johnson. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine.
Harlan is survived by brothers, Marv (Marilyn) Hoyt of Cedar Rapids and Darrel (Carol) Hoyt of Elberon; sister, LaVonne (Mike) Houser of Cedar Rapids; two aunts and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Harlan was preceded in death by his parents.
He was an avid Hawkeye and Cubs fan. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and being with family.
A memorial fund has been established.
