Cedar Rapids truck driver escapes fiery, 2-semi crash this morning

The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune is reporting that drivers Edward Dewayne Achenbach, 51, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Charles Edward Donahue, 68, of Hiland, Kansas, were involved in a fiery two-semi crash this morning. Yet they both
walked away from wreckage remarkably unscathed. The accident occurred around 7:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 36 about six miles east of Chillicothe. Both vehicles had caught fire and smoke billowing from the site could be seen for miles.
