Longerbeam, Bob
Bob Longerbeam, 82, of 700 W. Alta Vista, died at 7:40 a.m. Aug. 9, 2009, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center of congestive heart failure.
He was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Lisbon, to William "Willie" and Mary Elizabeth Beese Longerbeam. He married Wauneta Cassatt Jan. 25, 1950. She survives.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa with Joe Selix officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 5 to
7 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
