Let’s keep looking for good leaders

To the editor:
How many of you remember Ted Cruz filibustering until he helped shut down the federal government a few years back? He didn't care about what would happen by a government shutdown. He didn't care about our honor flight veterans who could not visit important sites in Washington, D.C., because the sites were shut down. He wouldn't negotiate a new budget. It was his way or the highway.
Well, I think we should take the highway. Then all we would have to worry about is Chris Christie. He would only shut down bridges until he gets his way.
Do we the people really want this type of leadership? What do I remember? I've only been around since Franklin D. Roosevelt was president. Let's keep looking.
