Bomb threat evacuates South Tama elementary school
South Tama Elementary School is being evacuated due to a bomb threat.
Authorities say the written threat was found on a school wall.
Elementary students are being evacuated to South Tama High School while authorities search the building. Students will only be released to a parent or guardian who comes to pick them up. Students will return to the elementary school when the building has been cleared and deemed safe by authorities.
South Tama Middle School was closed on Wednesday due to a similar threat. Classes at the middle school resumed Thursday.
