Funte, Gary F.
Gary F. Funte, 66, of Marengo, died Monday evening, Jan. 9, 2012, at Manor Care in Davenport. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Marengo American Legion Post No. 76. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
Gary is survived by two sons, John (Tasha), and Terry, all of Davenport; two grandchildren, John Jr. and Samantha Funte; and a sister, Nelda Mueller (Bob) of Charleston, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth Funte; and a brother, Ed.
