XC state-qualifier assignments

The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union have released assignments for state-qualifying meets, 4 p.m. Oct. 24.

The top three teams and top 10 individuals from each site advance to the state meet Nov. 2 at Fort Dodge.Districts/regionals with area teams:

CLASS 4A

At Cedar Rapids (Tuma) -- Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Cedar Rapids Prairie, Cedar Rapids Washington, Dubuque Hempstead, Iowa City West, Muscatine, Ottumwa, Waterloo East, Waterloo West.

At Marshalltown -- Cedar Falls, Des Moines East, Des Moines North, Iowa City High, Linn-Mar, Marshalltown, Mason City, Newton, Southeast Polk, Urbandale.

CLASS 3A

At Pella -- Bondurant-Farrar, Carlisle, Centerville, Chariton, Fairfield, Fort Madison, Grinnell, Keokuk, Knoxville, Nevada, Oskaloosa, Pella, Williamsburg.
