Laurie Goodrich, about to complete her first term as a Coralville City Council member, has done an excellent job, been a highly visible community leader involved in community activities and groups, readily available to constituents and a responsive listener seeking input from her fellow citizens of all ages, interests and economic situations. Before serving on the council, she invested herself in learning of city needs while working as an administrative employee for the city from 1998 to 2007, serving on several Coralville commissions, committees and community service groups and generally being an activist member of the community. Laurie has supported work to bring about new development, both commercial and residential to our city.
Voting for Goodrich for Coralville City Council is a vote for continued forward movement for the city and its residents. On Nov. 7, consider voting for Goodrich for re-election.
